Arnica is recommended for all wounds, by all herb experts, especially by the late Rev. Kneipp; it prevents ulceration and bleeding and accelerates the healing process. |
|
| It has, moreover, an excellent effect in the case of sprains, dislocations and the swellings caused by them. |
| Preparation: Arnica blossoms are soaked in alcohol, placed in the sun, or in some other warm place for ten days, then the tincture is strained and is ready for use. |
| In the case of open wounds, this tincture must be diluted. Add three small tablespoons full to a quart of water. Use it undiluted for sprains. |
